Vivo V21 series India launch tipped, expected to break cover in February

The V21 series could bring with itself a similar number of phones such as the V20 series from Vivo.

Even as we await the launch of the Vivo V20 Pro, a phone that's expected to launch sometime next week in India, reports have already started to come in about the launch of the phone's successor, the V21.

According to a report published by 91Mobiles, the Vivo V21 series can be expected in 2-3 months' time. The report does not reveal an exact timeline but does say an unnamed company official has informed them that Vivo plans to launch the phone in the months, possibly in Q1 2021.

There is also no clarity on the number of phones in the new series, but it is expected to be similar to the V20 series in size which recently saw the launch of two new phones and will soon see another phone being added to it in the form of the V 20 Pro. As such, there could be as many as three new phones, including the V21, V21 SE and V21 Pro that could be launched under the line-up in a few months.

As of now, details about the Vivo V21 specifications are not available, but it is expected to be an upgrade over the V20 series in terms of hardware and feature set. As mentioned above, the series will be made complete very soon with the company all set to launch the V20 Pro in India later next week. The phone is tipped to get a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with dual front-facing cameras. The phone's display is also said to be is equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Under the hood, the device is tipped to come with a Snapdragon 765G chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. For cameras, the Vivi V20 Pro is tipped to get a triple rear camera system that includes a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel sensor. At the front, the phone is tipped to feature a dual-lens set-up with a 44-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens. Keeping the lights on the Vivo V20 Pro will be a 4,000mAh battery and supports 33W flash charge.

The V20 Pro is tipped to be priced in India at Rs 29,990, and the phone is said to be made available in the country through offline and online stores across the country with a variety of offers to make the device a more aggressive proposition at the time of launch.
