Vivo X60 Pro+ teased ahead of January 21 launch, to bring dual main cameras and Snapdragon 888 SoC

The Vivo X60 Pro+ has been made available for pre-bookings. The phone is scheduled to be launched on January 21.

After launching the X60 series in China towards the end of last year, Vivo is now all set to launch the X60 Pro+ in the country on January 21. The company had recently confirmed the launch of the phone a few days ago, as it confirmed the existence of the device by announcing its launch on January 21.

The teaser shows the device will come with a dual main camera set-up and Snapdragon 888 mobile platform. The teaser also reveals that the phone is now listed on Vivo China's official website. The device is up for pre-booking with customers free to book the flagship phone by paying 50 Yuan. As for the device on offer, it has been listed in two colours, Dark Blue and Classic Orange. The two colours will also be available in two variants -- 8GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage.

Talking about the specs if the device, X60 Pro+ could be an upgrade on the Vivo X60 Pro in in a number of crucial departments. However, we'll have to wait a while longer before we know what the device will offer. Talking about the X60 Pro, the phone comes with a 6.56-inch AMOLED display capable of FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The phone's display also comes with a punch-hole, support for HDR10+, and DCI-P3 colour gamut.

Moving on to the hardware inside, the handset offers a 5nm Exynos 1080 SoC paired with 12GB LPPRD4x RAM + 256GB UFS 3.1 storage onboard. For the operating system, this hardware has been paired with the OriginOS based on Android 11 out of the box.

As for the cameras, the Vivo X60 Pro comes with a quad-camera setup, which consists of 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 primary sensor, 8-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and 60x digital zoom, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 13-megapixel portrait lens with 50mm focal length. Vivo has also announced that the set-up will come with support for the second-gen micro-gimbal OIS technology. For selfies, we have a 32-megapixel snapper for selfies. Lights on the device are kept on by a 4,300mAh battery. The smartphone supports 33W fast charging solution.
