  • Vivo X60 Pro live images show a punch-hole display.
  • The X60 Pro specifications have also leaked online.
  • The phone is expected to come with curved edges and slim form factor.

It's no secret that Vivo is working on a new flagship series of smartphones. Tipped to be called the X60 and X60 Pro, the two new phones are expected to be launched in the company's home country China very soon. And ahead of its rumoured launch, live images of the X60 Pro have surfaced online revealing some interesting things about the device.

The images coming courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, show the phone running Vivo's new Origin OS software and also show it off with a centre-positioned punch-hole display, curved edges, and slim form factor. The images also reveal a triple rear cameras set-up in a rectangular module at the back which looks similar to the Vivo X50 series.

The X60 Pro also appears to follow the premium design language we saw last year on the X50, with the leaked image of the X60 Pro showing a curved display. In the past, live images of the Vivo X60 model have also leaked in the past revealing that it will come with a flat screen rather than curved edges.

Apart from this, there's little that the leaks have revealed about the phones. However, we have heard rumours in the past that it is likely for the device to be powered by Samsung's upcoming Exynos 1080 SoC. Reports have said that the Vivo X60 phones with Exynos 1080 will also come with fast charging speeds of 33W. Another report has claimed to reveal the price of the Vivo X60 series, with the Vivo X60 said to start retail at Yuan 3500 in China at the time of its launch.

As an upgrade to the Vivo X50 series, the X60 would focus heavily on camera performance, and have quad rear cameras that would again be sat on a gimbal mechanism. Other specifications of the X60 are also unknown, but because it is also expected to feature a sleek design, the expectation is that it won't feature a big battery.

For now, we can only wait for more information about the device, however, the expectation is that the phone could launch as early as this month. If that does indeed end up being the case, the wait for more information may not be too long as we should start getting more details about the device in the coming days.
