Vivo X60, Vivo X60 Pro and Vivo X60 Pro Plus will go on sale in India for the first time on Friday afternoon. All three smartphones were launched in India last week and compete against OnePlus 9R, OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro, respectively. The X60 series marks the beginning of the partnership between Vivo and Zeiss for camera improvements. It boasts of features like Gimbal Stabilisation 2.0. This is also one of Vivo's first line-ups to have Qualcomm Snapdragon 8-series processors.
According to a recent announcement by Vivo, the new series has witnessed a better response than last year's Vivo X50 line-up. It said that the smartphones recorded more than 200 per cent pre-bookings than last year's offerings.
Vivo X60, Vivo X60 Pro and Vivo X60 Pro Plus price in India and offers
The most affordable Vivo X60 has been launched in two variants. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant of the smartphone will be selling at Rs 37,990 while the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant of the phone costs Rs 41,990. The more premium Vivo X60 Pro is priced at Rs 49,990 for the lone 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. Both these smartphones are available in Midnight Black and Shimmer Blue colour options.
The flagship Vivo X60 Pro Plus is priced at Rs 69,990 for the solo 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage variant. It will be available in soft vegan leather wrap in Emperor Blue colour. All the smartphones will be available on vivo India E-store, Amazon.in, Flipkart, and other major e-commerce websites along with offline partner retail stores across India.
Vivo X60, Vivo X60 Pro features and specifications
Vivo X60 and X60 Pro come with similar features. Both the phones feature a 6.56-inch curved FHD+ AMOLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate and 240 Hz response rate. The phones have Corning Gorilla Glass 6 on the back. Both the smartphones also pack the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 and come with Adreno 650 GPU.
The camera setup includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.48 lens, a 13-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 13-megapixel tertiary sensor. For selfies and video chats, the Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro come with a 32-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.45 lens.
The difference here is that the X60 Pro uses a different Sony IMX 598 lens as the main 48-megapixel camera.
Vivo X60 comes with a bigger 4300mAh battery while the X60 Pro features a 4200mAh pack. Both of them support 33W fast charging. They run Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11.
Vivo X60 Pro Plus features
The Vivo X60 Pro Plus features the same 6.56-inch AMOLED display with full HD resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and HDR 10+ support. The phone has a Vegan Leather back. It is powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor with 12GB RAM. The smartphone packs a 4200mAh battery with 55W FlashCharge support.
The quad rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel GN1 Sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and an f/1.57 lens, a 48-megapixel Sony IMX 598 sensor with Gimbal stabilisation and an f/2.2 lens, a 32-megapixel sensor with an f/2.08 lens, and an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/3.4 lens. At the front, there is a 32-megapixel selfie shooter with an f/2.45 lens.
