Vodafone has yet again launched a prepaid plan for its subscribers. The telecom giant introduced Rs 499 plan, which comes with 1.5 GB of data per day and it is available in all major circles. Vodafone has also altered its existing Rs 555 plan.
The 499 prepaid plan is quite a replacement of the Rs 555 plan as it also comes with 1.54 GB data per day, unlimited calling facility to all networks along with 100 SMSes per day. The users will also get free subscription of streaming app Zee5 and Vodafone Play. The plan will come with a validity of 70 or 60 days depending on the circle.
Although the 499 plan is in a way a replacement of the 555 plan, the latter still exists albeit with a few changes. The validity of the plan has been decreased to 70 from 77 days. The 555 plan also comes with 1.5 GB per day data with unlimited calling and 100smses per day.
However, if you are considering choosing for any of the above plans, you should totally opt for Rs 997. This is a long-term plan by Vodafone that has a validity of 180 days and offers 1.5 GB data per day. It also offers unlimited calling facility to all networks along with 100 SMSes per day.
The Rs 997 prepaid plan lets the users remain tension free for alteast six months and it is a lot cheaper than Vodafone's annual plan. You are only required to recharge your phone twice in a year if you opt for the 997 plan.
However, if you are lucking for a plan which is valid for 365 days, there is a Rs 2399 plan which comes with 1.5 GB data, unlimited calling and 100 SMSes per day. The plan is valid for 365 days. Recharging your phone with this plan can be efficient in many ways as you wouldn't have to worry about your plan getting over after every month, you just have to recharge your phone once and you can take a back seat for a year. But if compared to other long-term plans, this one is slightly expensive.
Vodafone has introduced a lot of prepaid plans and altered some of the existing plans after the hike in price in December 2019. They along with Airtel,Jio had increased the prices of their prepaid plans to earn better revenues.
