Xiaomi has come out really quick out of the blocks this year with the company launching a number of new phones already in 2021. And now, reports suggest it is getting set to add a new smart band, the Mi Band 6, to the list.

While there's no concrete information on when this new smart band could launch, information about the device has started to leak online, hinting that we could actually be quite close to a launch for the smart wearable.

As per the latest reports, the Mi band 6 is said to come with a codename "Pangu" and is tipped to offer new features and improved design elements over its predecessors. As per the information, the Mi Band 6 will come with the model number XMSH16HM. The device is tipped to offer NFC and non-NFC versions for the Chinese and global markets. Key details about it have leaked through the Zepp app source code which reveals that the Mi Band 6 will come with support for Alexa and a SpO2 sensor for blood oxygen measurement.

Further, the latest reports suggest the phone will bring with itself built-in GPS. Further, leaked faces for the Band 6 suggest that the Mi Band 6 may feature a larger display than the 1.1-inch screen found on the Mi Band 5.

The information about the device comes courtesy of a user named MagicalUnicorn who has been sharing details of the Mi Band 6. The Mi Band 6 is also being tipped by the user to arrive with up to 30 activity modes compared to only 11 found on the Mi Band 5.

Further, the tipster has also found a trove of images featuring icons and emojis along with menu headers and activity pictures. The Mi Band 6 may is also being tipped to come with a Pomodoro timer for assisting with productivity management and directly accessible sleep data that is stored on the smart band.
