  • Realme TV has now stepped into selling at offline stores too.
  • Realme TV comes in two sizes - 32-inch and 43-inch - with Android TV.
  • Realme TV price in India starts at Rs 12,999 for the 32-inch model.

Realme has a cycle of how it sells its products. It first brings them to the online marketplaces and then gradually pushes them to reach brick and mortar stores. Well, the latest one to arrive in offline stores is the Realme TV, which was launched back in May days after the complete lockdown was lifted. Realme TV marked the debut of the Oppo offshoot in the home entertainment space as a part of its efforts put towards making itself a tech lifestyle brand. Realme also devised a new 1+4+N strategy on how it will launch products in markets.

If you have been holding back yourself from buying Realme TV via online platforms, partly because you wanted to experience it first-hand, the smart TV will be available across 1,250 offline stores. These stores, Realme says, belong to the 'Royal Club' that is a cheeky name given to various offline outlets that will help the brand its offline footprint. Realme has a strong presence in the online segment but its offline identity is not as prolific as that of Xiaomi, Oppo, or Vivo.

So, how much does the Realme TV cost?

There are two variants, the 32-inch HD-Ready model costs Rs 12,999 while the high-end 43-inch FHD variant is priced at Rs 21,999. Both models will be available to buy via stores.

Now, let us talk about three features that make Realme TV a definite purchase for its asking price.

First, the Realme TV has the standard 32-inch model for under Rs 15,000 in India, which is value for money. Much like the competition, Realme TV 32-inch model, too, offers up to 720p resolution. The 43-inch model, on the other hand, is a full-HD variant maxing out at 1080p resolution for the content. This one is also quite aggressively priced at Rs 21,999. The bottom line is that you get a lot of features for less price with Realme TV.

Realme TV runs on Android TV-based on Android 9 Pie, which means you can run nearly every app it is available for televisions. There are apps such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hotstar, Google Play Store, and a lot of many others. Since there is around 8GB of storage (and 1GB of RAM), you will not feel as if you are running out of space for multiple apps that you may have to download. There is also support for external storage via USB-A ports.

The display panels on the Realme TV support HDR10+, which is actually impressive for the price. There are not many televisions in the market for this price that offer HDR10+. Plus, there is Dolby Audio available as well on the Realme TV.
