For the new government to achieve the promised economic growth levels, the economic cabinet ministries needs visionaries who can bring about both short-term and long term reforms.
If I were the PM, I would assign finance ministry to Arun Shourie. Shourie has been an economist, politician and is an eminent journalist. Shourie will bring his wide experience to the Indian market which seems to be at the cusp of a bull run.

The commerce ministry should be handed to Arun Jaitley, who previously has held similar portfolios. His electoral loss in Amritsar will only double his efforts to deliver 'Acche din aane waale hain' promise. If the new cabinet is going to be smaller this time around, we need close aides of NaMo joining the bandwagon. Both Aruns are advisors to NaMo and have the potential to uphold the backbone of Modi Sarkar.
