Google Pay to charge transfer fee; remove web app services

BusinessToday.In | November 27, 2020

Google will no longer allow peer-to-peer payments facility on its web app from January and start charging a fee for instant money transfers. The company will charge a fee of 1.5 percent or $.31 (whichever is higher) for the transfers through debit cards. Google, earlier in November, launched a redesigned Google Pay for Android and iOS users. The app not only has a new logo but also comes along with lots of new features. Watch the video for more.
