Kia EV9, Tata Harrier EV and more: EVs launched so far at Auto Expo 2023

After a three-year hiatus, the Auto Expo was back this year, and EVs have grabbed most headlines with carmakers Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Hyundai, Kia, and MG Motor showcasing their vehicles

Kia EV9

Kia displayed its EV9 all-electric SUV concept at Auto Expo 2023. The EV9 concept is approximately 4.9 metres long, 2 metres wide, and 1.7 metres tall. It has a 77.4 kWh battery pack

Tata Harrier EV

During the auto show, Tata Motors also unveiled the Harrier EV concept which is anticipated to go on sale in 2024

Toyota bZ4x electric SUV

At Auto Expo 2023, Toyota unveiled its brand-new bZ4x electric SUV, which might debut in April 2023. The vehicle has a 71.4 kWh battery, which Toyota says is adequate for a range of over 550 kms

Hyundai Ioniq 5

Hyundai announced Ioniq 5 CUV, priced at Rs 44.95 lakh, which will be offered in India in a single variant with a 72.6 kWh battery, which is adequate for a range of about 470 kms

Maruti Suzuki eVX

Maruti Suzuki eVX is 1.8 metres wide and 4.3 metres long. It stands 1.6 metres tall roughly. The SUV will have a 60 kWh battery, which should give it a range of 550 kilometres

MG Motor MG 4 EV

MG Motor announced the release of their MG 4 electric hatchback. The MG 4 EV will be offered in two variations, one with a battery capacity of 51 kWh and the other with a larger 64 kWh capacity

BYD

During Auto Expo 2023, the Chinese automaker BYD announced the arrival of its Seal all-electric sedan in India. The company said it will be available in India in the fourth quarter of 2023
