“Nifty index opened positive and remained in the range of its initial hour for the rest of the session. It took support near 19,339 zones and faced some capped move on the upside. Recovery was seen in the last hour and it managed to close near 19,400 zones with gains of around 10 points… Now it has to continue to hold above 19,300 zones to extend the move towards 19,450 and 19,500 zones while on the downside support is intact at 19,250 and 19,100 zones,” said Chandan Taparia of Motilal Oswal Securities

WTI Crude oil prices rose on Thursday trading at $89 per bbl, near a 10-month high as recent output cut extensions by the OPEC+ prompted the forecasters to signal tight market outlook for the second half of the year. IEA projected that demand will eclipse supply by 1.2 mbpd on average during the second half of the year. For MCX crude oil futures for September delivery, an immediate resistance is seen at Rs 7,415, followed by Rs 7,438. Support is seen at Rs 7,366, followed by Rs 7,340, as per Kotak Securities
