“Nifty ended the session with bearish “Engulfing” candlestick pattern on the daily chart. Nifty seems to be losing momentum and any level below 19,600 would confirm bearish trend reversal. Short term view on Nifty should remain cautious, till it surpasses 19,900-20,000 resistance zone,” said Devarsh Vakil, Deputy Head Retail Research, HDFC Securities

“From a technical perspective, Comex gold has an immediate resistance level of $1,987/oz; if it crosses this level, the upside will extend towards the $2,005 level.
