The domestic equity market was trading lower on Thursday. Sensex slipped 477 points to 71,674 and Nifty lost 128 pts to 21,802.

The bulls are again on the front foot and will use any positive news to push the market forward. Shares of LIC hit their record high in early trade ahead of the insurer’s Q3 earnings today. LIC shares gained 9.51% to Rs 1144.45 on BSE today. In the current session, LIC stock opened higher at Rs 1074.95. Market cap of the firm rose to Rs 7.02 lakh crore.
Shares of SBI zoomed to their fresh record amid correction in the market today. SBI stock rose to a high of Rs 718.80 against the previous close of Rs 675.50 on BSE. Market cap of Trent rose to Rs 6.27 lakh crore
Shares of One 97 Communications Ltd (Paytm) tumbled 10 per cent to Rs 447.10 today after a media report said that CDSL, the largest domestic securities depository, is conducting an inspection of the customer verification process followed by Paytm Money, the wealth management entity run by Paytm. Market cap of the firm fell to Rs 29,124 crore.
Shares of Trent zoomed to their fresh 52-week high, rising 9.04% to Rs 3935.85 on BSE. Market cap of Trent rose to Rs 1.37 lakh crore. A total of 5.19 lakh shares of the firm changed hands amounting to a turnover of Rs 195.15 crore on BSE.
Shares of Jupiter Wagons slipped over 2% to Rs 377.40 on BSE. Jupiter Wagons’ market cap slipped to Rs 15,737 crore. A total of 56.69 lakh shares of the firm changed hands amounting to a high turnover of Rs 218.09 crore on BSE.
Shares of YES Bank rose to a 52 week high of Rs 32.74 on BSE today. Total 1700.67 lakh shares changed hands amounting to the highest turnover of Rs 529.31 crore. Market cap of the lender climbed to Rs 86,663 crore.
Shares of Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd (IREDA) have tumbled 10% in the last two sessions. The stock fell 4.98% to Rs 189 on BSE today. The stock was stuck in the lower circuit of 5%. Market cap of the firm slipped to Rs 50,798 crore. IREDA saw 12.50 lakh shares changing hands amounting to a turnover of Rs 23.69 crore on BSE.
