Paras Defence

Sensex, Nifty trading  in green

The domestic equity market was trading higher in the afternoon session today. Sensex gained 82 points to 76,893 and Nifty gained 35 pts to 23,434.

Market likely to be range-bound

“In the near-term, the market is likely to be range bound since there are no major triggers till the budget. Since the valuations are high, particularly in the broader market, any significant up move will invite selling from the FIIs," said VK Vijayakumar, Chief Investment Strategist, Geojit Financial Services.

Paras Defence

Shares of Paras Defence hit their 52-week high of Rs 1130 on BSE. Market cap of Paras Defence climbed to Rs 4328.62 crore. The stock rose 17% intraday on Friday.

Bharat Forge

Shares of Bharat Forge hit their 52 week high   on Friday. The stock saw a turnover of Rs 3.49 crore after 0.21 lakh shares changed hands on BSE. Market cap of the firm rose to Rs 78,564 crore.

BEML

Shares of BEML rose 11.58% to Rs 4495 on BSE today. Market cap of the firm rose to Rs 18,495 crore. A total of 0.51 lakh shares changed hands amounting to a turnover of Rs 21.72 crore on BSE.

Mazagon Dock

Shares of Mazagon Dock rose 4.30% to a record high of Rs 3535 on BSE today. Market cap of the firm rose to Rs 70,813 crore. A total of 1.62 lakh shares changed hands amounting to a turnover of Rs 55.97 crore on BSE.

Ambuja Cements

Ambuja Cements shares hit a record high of Rs 690 in early deals after the the Adani Group owned cement company inked a binding agreement for the acquisition of Penna Cement Industries at an enterprise value of Rs. 10,422 crore. Market cap of the firm rose to Rs 1.66 lakh crore.

JSW Energy

JSW Energy shares hit a record high of Rs 684.65 in early deals. Market cap of the firm rose to Rs 1.19 lakh crore. A total of 6.76 lakh shares changed hands amounting to a turnover of Rs 45.87 crore on BSE.
