Indian equity benchmarks on Friday fell after scaling their fresh lifetime high levels. The 30-share BSE Sensex touched an all-time high of 81,587.76 before settling 739 points or 0.91% down at 80,605. The broader NSE Nifty index hit a new intraday peak of 24,854.80. It closed 270 points or 0.1.09% lower at 24,531. Stocks such as Mphasis, Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys and Coforge were among the top gainers on Nifty 200 during this week.
Mphasis Ltd's stock was the top gainer this week in the Nifty 200 universe as the scrip soared 12.23% to Rs 2,873.55 on NSE. The stock has zoomed 18.87% in the last one month.
Tata Consultancy Services Ltd's stock surged 9.65% this week to Rs 4,302.4 on NSE, and was among the top gainers in the Nifty 200 universe. In the last one month, the stock has gained 12.77%.
Infosys Ltd's stock was also among the top gainers in the Nifty 200 pack this week as it moved 8.49% higher to Rs 1,792.95 on NSE. The stock has surged 19.67% in the last one month.
Coforge Ltd's stock climbed 7.55% to Rs 5,983.75 on NSE in the week ended on July 19, and was among the top gainers in the Nifty 200 universe. The stock has jumped 13.48% on a monthly basis.
Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd's stock was also among the top gainers in the Nifty 200 universe this week as it rose 6.6% to Rs 10,822.3 on NSE. In the last one month, the stock has gained 12.24%. Shares of LTIMindtree, KPIT Technologies, SBI Life Insurance Company, HCL Technologies and Kalyan Jewellers India also picked up pace on NSE 200 during the week.
Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd's stock slumped 13.47% this week to Rs 4,800.25 on NSE, and was the top loser in the Nifty 200 pack. The stock has fallen 13.25% in the last one month.
Bharat Dynamics Ltd's shares plunged 11.92% to Rs 1,467.75 on NSE this week, making the stock one of the top losers in the Nifty 200 universe. The scrip has slipped 9.8% in the last one month. During the week, shares of Siemens, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL), Cummins India, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders and Dixon Technologies also saw sharp corrections on NSE 200.
