Honda XR300L starts at ₹1.83 lakh—what to check before booking a bike for office trips and weekend adventures

The Rally costs ₹25,000 more before on-road charges

Honda lists Bengaluru ex-showroom prices of ₹1.83 lakh for the XR300L and ₹2.08 lakh for the XR300 Rally. That is a ₹25,000 difference. Registration, insurance and other applicable charges must be checked separately in the dealer's quote. (AI generated representative pic)

Both brochures specify a 293.5 cc engine

Honda's official brochures list a 293.5 cc air-cooled engine with an oil cooler for both motorcycles. This confirms the basic engine configuration. The brochures do not provide enough information to claim a tested fuel-efficiency figure or daily running cost. (AI generated representative pic)

Brakes and rear suspension are listed

Both brochures specify front and rear disc brakes, switchable two-channel ABS and gas-charged Pro-Link rear suspension. Buyers should consult the final owner's manual for how the ABS switching operates; the short brochure does not explain its settings. (AI generated representative pic)

RoadSync is a listed Rally feature

The XR300 Rally brochure includes Honda RoadSync, while the XR300L brochure does not list it. That is a documented feature distinction. Check the final connectivity specification before assuming particular navigation, phone or display functions are included. (AI generated representative pic)

A listed price does not mean immediate delivery

Honda's product pages say complete configurations and specifications will be revealed in the third quarter of FY2026–27, with deliveries shortly afterwards. Ask the dealer for a written delivery estimate and booking terms before planning a trip around the purchase. (AI generated representative pic)
