At the World Economic Forum 2026 in Davos, CANEUS International Founder and Executive Chairman Dr Milind Pimprikar speaks to Business Today’s Siddharth Zarabi about a landmark Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Maharashtra. The agreement proposes a $450–500 million global mid-Technology Readiness Level (Mid-TRL) platform in Navi Mumbai, aimed at accelerating frontier technologies across aerospace, space, advanced materials, sensors and AI-driven energy systems. With participation from stakeholders across the US, Europe, Canada, Japan and the Middle East, the initiative seeks to bridge the critical gap between innovation and large-scale commercialisation. Dr Pimprikar also shares insights on India’s growing role in the global deep-tech ecosystem, investor confidence, and why Davos remains a strategic platform for international collaboration and investment announcements.
