Foxconn, Vedanta To Go Solo? Govt Says No Impact On India’s Chip Fab Goals

A day after it ended its semiconductor joint venture with the Vedanta Group, Foxconn has said it plans to apply for incentives the central government is offering under its chip manufacturing policy. This comes after Vedanta brushed off the setback saying it Vedanta said it was fully committed to its semiconductor project and had lined up other partners to set up India’s first foundry.
