IMC 2025: India’s Tech Powerhouse | 6G, AI, Cybersecurity, Startup Revolution & More

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia highlighted that the upcoming IMC 2025 will feature six major events, showcasing India’s significant advancements in the technology sector. These include the International Bharat 6G Symposium, focusing on future wireless communication standards beyond 5G, and the International AI Summit, addressing developments in artificial intelligence. A Cyber Security Summit is also planned to ensure the safety and well-being of 1.2 billion users. The SATCOM Summit will discuss new satellite communication technologies. Furthermore, the IMC Aspire program aims to connect 500 startups with 300 venture capitalists, private equity firms, and investment bankers to foster investment and growth. The Global Startup World Cup India will also take place, with fifteen finalists competing for a one-million-dollar investment opportunity. The event will unlock unique 5G and 6G use cases, showcasing approximately 1,600 technology innovations. India currently boasts 1.2 billion mobile subscribers—representing 20% of the world’s total—and has achieved the fastest 5G rollout globally in just 22 months, with 970 million internet users.
