Maruti Suzuki Announces Second Plant In Vibrant Gujarat At An Investment Of ₹35,000 Crore

Japanese automaker Suzuki Motor Corporation is set to accelerate its presence in India with a substantial investment of ₹3,200 crore to expand its current production facilities in Gujarat. Speaking at the Vibrant Gujarat 2024 summit, Toshihiro Suzuki, President, Suzuki Motors Japan also announced an additional investment of ₹35,000 crore to set up a second 1-million unit plant in Gujarat. The automaker’s plans in India include the launch of an electric vehicle by the end of this year which will be exported to Japan and European countries.
