Metropolis On Acquisition Drive

Metropolis Healthcare Limited has announced its fourth acquisition in 10 months, including three regional players. The company has acquired Kolhapur’s Ambika Pathology Laboratory, strengthening its presence in Western Maharashtra. Metropolis Healthcare Limited, which reported a 23% rise in Q1FY26 revenue to ₹386 crore and a 19% increase in PAT, is focusing on complex and high-value testing, preventive care, and expansion into Tier II and Tier III cities. With the integration of recent acquisitions, higher uptake in specialty diagnostics, and continued investments in genomics, AI, and wellness portfolios, Metropolis aims to build a science-led diagnostics model centred on accuracy, innovation, and patient trust.
