PM Modi In Bhutan: Strengthening India-Bhutan Friendship During Two-Day State Visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Thimphu, Bhutan, for a two-day state visit aimed at deepening India-Bhutan relations. Upon landing, PM Modi expressed gratitude to Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay for the warm and gracious welcome, saying the visit “reflects the deep bonds of friendship and cooperation” between the two nations. He reaffirmed that India and Bhutan enjoy a time-tested partnership built on trust, goodwill, and mutual respect. During the visit, PM Modi will participate in the Global Peace Prayer Festival organised by the Royal Government of Bhutan and hold talks to further strengthen bilateral ties in connectivity, energy, and development cooperation.
