Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw today inspected the newly built Yatri Suvidha Kendra at New Delhi Railway Station, designed to handle around 7,000 passengers at a time. The modern facility, divided into pre-ticketing, ticketing, and post-ticketing zones, aims to ease congestion and improve comfort during the festive travel rush. It features 22 ticket counters, 25 ATVMs, seating for 200 passengers, 18 HVLS fans, and a dedicated sanitation block with RO-based drinking water. The Minister said similar centres will be developed at major stations nationwide.
