Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reflected on India’s journey since Independence, recalling the pain and mass violence that accompanied Partition in 1947, which prevented many Indians from celebrating freedom. He said the spirit of true national unity was witnessed during the 75th year of Independence under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, when citizens across the country came together to honour the heroes of freedom. Calling it a moment of spiritual strength and selfless resolve, Yogi Adityanath said India’s growing global stature reflects the world’s faith in the country’s capabilities. He added that voices from across the globe now look to India and Prime Minister Modi for leadership, urging citizens to contribute to the nation’s vision and the journey towards 2047.
