A growing maritime crisis in West Asia has claimed the lives of three Indian sailors after a U.S. operation targeted the tanker MT Settebello off the coast of Oman. The victims have been identified as Aditya Sharma, Shivanand Chaurasiya and Patnala Suresh. The attack comes amid a series of incidents involving India-linked vessels. Earlier, MT Marivex was struck in the Gulf of Oman, while MT Jalveer was also targeted, though all crew members on those ships were rescued safely. India has strongly protested the incidents, summoning the U.S. Charge d'Affaires and calling for dialogue and diplomacy. The attacks have intensified concerns over maritime security and the safety of Indian seafarers.
