Ayodhya Donation Case: Yogi Adityanath Says SIT Found No Sadhu-Saint Involvement In Initial Investment

In the Ayodhya donation-related case, Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, said the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust itself requested an SIT probe after reports of alleged irregularities surfaced. He stated that the Uttar Pradesh government formed the SIT on the Trust's request, leading to an FIR and the arrest of eight people based on available evidence. According to the Chief Minister, the SIT's preliminary findings did not establish the involvement of any saints or seers in the matter. The investigation continues under the supervision of the Supreme Court after the SIT was reconstituted.
