In a massive push for military self-reliance, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh declared that India cannot rely on other nations for its national security, stating, "We can only stay strong when our own stick is in our own hand." Speaking in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, he laid the foundation stone for the Core Integration and Flight Testing Center for India’s 5th-generation Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA). Developed by the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA), a key partner of DRDO, this ₹15,000-crore project will deliver a full-fledged stealth fighter- a capability possessed by only a handful of nations globally. Highlighting the global chaos, Singh emphasized that the ₹2,000-crore high-tech facility puts Puttaparthi on the global aviation map, preparing lethal aircraft capable of decimating enemies in the blink of an eye.
