Rasmus Abildgaard Kristensen, Ambassador of Denmark to India, highlights Denmark’s support for a study aimed at restoring the degraded Aravalli ecosystem. He stresses that land degradation is a global challenge affecting nearly 3 billion people and shares Denmark’s experience in ecosystem restoration, sustainable land use, clean rivers, and forests. Calling the Aravalli Range vital for North India’s climate, he links the initiative to the Green Strategic Partnership between India and Denmark, covering environment, renewable energy, water management, and stronger India–EU cooperation, including progress toward an FTA.
