Highlighting heavy global drone losses, he warned that unmanned systems face severe survivability issues in active combat without a total design overhaul. Pushing for a transition toward multi-domain robotic warfare to safeguard human life, the IAF Chief demanded absolute component-level indigenization, strict regulations to prevent friendly fire, and the immediate development of next-gen directed-energy laser weapons.
