Rubio’s unusual four-day itinerary covering Delhi, Kolkata, Jaipur and Agra is expected to combine diplomacy, culture and strategic engagement. The visit will include the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue Foreign Ministers’ Meeting alongside bilateral talks with India. Ambassador Gor hinted at major announcements linked to the Quad and the India-US partnership, while also revealing that the bilateral trade deal is in its final stages. Calling India a “trusted partner,” the envoy said President Donald Trump wants closer cooperation with New Delhi across multiple sectors.
