India–EU FTA Sealed: Ireland’s Envoy Says Deal Will Cut Tariffs, Boost Trade And Benefit Consumers

Commenting on the India–EU Free Trade Agreement, Ireland’s Ambassador to India, Kevin Kelly, expressed strong optimism, saying the deal was long-awaited and vital for boosting trade. Highlighting Ireland’s own economic transformation through trade and common markets, he said fewer tariffs encourage greater trade and mutual growth. Kelly added that the agreement is expected to benefit consumers, companies, and producers in both India and Europe.
