India-UK FTA From July 15: Piyush Goyal Says 99% Exports Get Zero Duty, PF Relief For Workers

Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal highlighted the India-UK Free Trade Agreement, set to take effect on July 15, 2026, offering zero-duty access to nearly 99% of Indian exports. He said the accompanying Double Contribution Convention Agreement will allow eligible Indian professionals posted in the UK for up to five years to continue contributing to provident fund accounts in India for retirement security.
