A terrifying video from Nepal shows a house disappearing in seconds as a hillside collapses amid relentless rain and landslides. In another dramatic video, a huge section of a mountain near Lete in Mustang district collapses into the Kali Gandaki River, briefly obstructing its flow. Three days of heavy rainfall have triggered floods and landslides across several districts. At least 24 people have been killed and 14 remain missing. Rescue teams are working to clear debris and move people from high-risk areas. The latest disaster comes barely a month after the August 26 Bhote Koshi flash floods, which caused catastrophic loss of life and widespread damage across Nepal. Recent reports put the death toll from that disaster at more than 1,400, with thousands reported missing.
