"No Need For Panic": Gov't Confirms Surplus Petrol, Diesel & LPG Stock Amid Shortage Rumors

The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has strongly dismissed fuel shortage rumors, confirming that adequate stocks of petrol, diesel, LPG, and natural gas are available across India. Joint Secretary Sujata Sharma stated that supply lines to retail outlets and distributors are functioning normally, leaving no reason for panic. The government has urged citizens to avoid panic buying and only purchase fuel as required, assuring them that every effort is underway to guarantee timely deliveries. Additionally, the Ministry encouraged consumers to transition toward sustainable, alternative cooking options like PNG, induction, and electric cooktops.
