In a conversation with India Today, Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu hailed the launch of commercial operations at Noida International Airport, calling it a major milestone in India's aviation growth story. He highlighted strong enthusiasm from airlines, industries and passengers, saying the airport has the potential to become a major transport hub. The minister said international flight operations could begin once the terminal receives the necessary approvals and licensing. He also stressed the focus on multimodal connectivity, including expressways, rail links and electric bus services. On the Air India AI-171 crash investigation, Naidu said authorities are following international protocols and a transparent process, adding that the probe is in its final stages and the report will be released as soon as possible.
