PM Modi Unveils ‘Saptadhara’ Vision To Make India A Global Manufacturing & Innovation Hub

Prime Minister Narendra Modi outlines his seven-pronged “Saptadhara” vision to strengthen India’s economic and strategic capabilities. He calls for greater manufacturing and food processing, a stronger technology and innovation ecosystem, faster connectivity and modern infrastructure. Modi also stresses defence self-reliance and the need for India to become a global supplier of next-generation defence technology. He highlights the potential of the green and blue economy, including green hydrogen, renewable energy, energy storage and green mobility. The seventh pillar focuses on India’s soft power, including Ayurveda, healthcare, culture, films, animation, VFX, gaming and digital content. Modi says India must build global capabilities across these sectors rather than remain merely a market for the world.
