Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked India’s 80th Independence Day celebrations at the Red Fort with a roadmap for the country’s next decade of growth. Calling it ‘Saptadhara’, PM Modi outlined seven key streams of strength that can help India achieve the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047. From manufacturing and agriculture to technology, connectivity, defence, clean energy and India’s soft power, the Prime Minister stressed the need to build domestic capabilities and compete globally. With supply chains, AI, robotics, data centres and green energy reshaping the world, Modi laid out the priorities he believes can drive India towards becoming a developed nation.
