Seven lives were lost after a building collapsed next to a girls’ PG hostel in Delhi’s Satya Niketan. But for around 22 students staying at Hostel Daze, the crisis is far from over. The students allege that for three days they have been left without proper food, a caretaker or a warden. They also claim Wi-Fi has been disconnected and that they are now being asked to pay an additional ₹4,000 for food, despite meals being included in their PG package. The students further allege that the hostel owners, Sudhanshu and Shubham, have not been responding to calls. The girls are now raising questions over safety and accountability.
