Takeda, Dr. Reddy’spartner To Bring QDENGA Dengue Vaccine To India; Launch Expected In H1 2027

Takeda and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories have entered into an exclusive collaboration to promote and distribute QDENGA®️, Takeda’s dengue vaccine, in India’s private vaccination market. Dr. Reddy’s will lead promotion and distribution, while Takeda brings its global expertise in dengue prevention and vaccine development. QDENGA received marketing authorisation from India’s CDSCO in July 2026 for individuals aged 4–60 years. The vaccine is expected to be available in India in the first half of 2027, subject to completion of applicable regulatory requirements. The partnership comes as India continues to face a significant dengue burden, creating an opportunity for vaccination to become part of the country’s preventive healthcare landscape.
