U.P. Flood Fury: Kushinagar Submerged As Narayani River Breaches Embankment | Rescue Ops Intensify

Floodwaters have submerged parts of Kushinagar in Uttar Pradesh after heavy rainfall in Nepal triggered a sharp rise in the Narayani River. A major embankment breach led to several houses being inundated, with residents rescued using ropes and urged to evacuate vulnerable areas. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted an aerial review of the affected areas as NDRF, SDRF and police teams continued rescue and relief operations on the ground. Families were moved to safer locations with essential belongings.
