U.S. President Trump’s ‘Plumber Saved The Plane’ Story: What He Said Happened On Flydubai Flight

U.S. President Donald Trump has recounted what he described as an “amazing” story involving a Flydubai flight, saying he discussed the incident with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. According to Trump’s account, which he himself cautioned may not be fully verified, a co-pilot allegedly attacked the pilot, sending the aircraft into a steep descent. Trump said an Israeli passenger described as a plumber then helped restrain the attacker and pulled the aircraft’s controls to level the plane before the flight crew took over. Trump also said the passenger had watched the television series “Air Disasters” and believed that helped him understand how to respond. The account is being presented here as Trump’s version of events, pending independent verification of the details.
