Vijay’s TVK Wave, Dhanush’s Fan Club & Annamalai’s Move: Tamil Nadu Politics Shifts

Tamil Nadu politics is entering a new phase, with actor-politician Vijay’s TVK making its presence felt and fresh political developments putting the spotlight on other prominent names. Dhanush’s fan club has reportedly been renamed the Dhanush Narpani Iyakkam, fuelling speculation about the actor’s future plans, although this alone does not confirm a political entry. Meanwhile, K. Annamalai, who left the BJP and launched the ‘We The Leaders’ movement, has announced plans to contest the upcoming Tamil Nadu civic body elections. With TVK seeking to expand its political footprint, the DMK and AIADMK face a changing political landscape. Could these developments reshape Tamil Nadu’s political equations?
