The company is exploring premium offerings for creators, businesses and AI-powered tools as it looks beyond ad-based revenues. Users may get exclusive features like longer stories, anonymous story viewing, advanced analytics, profile customization, premium stickers and enhanced WhatsApp messaging tools. Cyrus John also highlighted Meta’s massive AI investments, which are driving the need for fresh revenue streams. Subscription pricing may range between ₹300 and ₹500 in India, with phased rollouts and testing expected to begin soon for Indian users as well.
