Yogi Adityanath On UP’s Growth Story: GSDP Triples, ₹50 Lakh Cr Investments & 65 Lakh Jobs

UP Textile Conclave 2026 | Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath highlighted the state’s transformation and investment-led growth at the UP Textile Conclave 2026. He said UP’s GSDP and per-capita income have tripled over the past nine years, while women’s workforce participation has also increased threefold. Yogi said the state has received investment proposals worth ₹50 lakh crore, with ₹15 lakh crore already reaching the ground and another ₹7.5 lakh crore ready for groundbreaking. He said these investments have helped provide employment opportunities to more than 65 lakh youth. Yogi also highlighted UP’s expanding manufacturing base, 96 lakh MSME units, multimodal connectivity, a 75,000-acre land bank and investor-friendly policies. He pointed to UP’s growing role in mobile manufacturing, electronics, defence production and private industrial parks as key drivers of future growth.
