India’s Logistics Game Is Changing: The Big Infra Push Explained

At the BT Infrastructure Summit 2026, BTTV’s Shailendra Bhatnagar spoke exclusively with Vishal Gupta, ED, Deloitte India, and infrastructure expert Vaibhav Dange about India’s evolving multimodal logistics ecosystem. The discussion focused on how Sagarmala 2.0, PM Gati Shakti and Bharatmala are integrating ports, roads, railways and industrial corridors to improve cargo movement. The speakers highlighted digital clearances, multimodal logistics parks, freight corridors and coastal shipping as key drivers of efficiency. They also stressed the growing role of private investment in logistics parks and port operations. Better infrastructure, they said, could significantly reduce logistics costs, improve efficiency and boost India’s economic competitiveness.
