Most searched mobile devices on Google India in 2015

The number of mobile devices being launched every day has prompted users to search for reviews, specifications on various platforms. We take a look at the top 10 mobile devices searched at Google India.  

Apple iPhone 6S: Apple launched the iPhone 6s at $199 for the 16GB variant, $299 for the 64GB variant, and $399 for the 128GB variant. The new iPhones are available in silver, gold, space grey and a new rose gold colour.

Lenovo K3 Note: Chinese electronics firm Lenovo launched the K3 Note phablet at Rs 9,999. The phablet sports Android v5 (Lollipop) operating system. It has a 13.97 cm capacitive touchscreen.

Lenovo A6000: The 4G LTE enabled Lenovo A6000 was launched at Rs 6,999. The phone sports a 5-inch 1280x720 display and is powered by 1.2 GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8916 processor. The Dual Sim, GSM LTE phone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and has 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage.

Lenovo A7000: Lenovo, the Chinese electronics giant, announced the launch of the A7000 in India. Unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the A7000 was priced at Rs 8,999. It was the first smartphone to have Dolby Atmos sound technology on board.

Micromax Canvas Silver 5: Micromax has launched the Canvas Silver 5 at Rs 17,999. The sleek device is mere 5.1 mm in thickness, end-to-end. At 97 grams, the company claimed it to be the lightest smartphone, ever.

Micromax Canvas Spark: The company's Canvas Spark storms the below-Rs 5,000 Android smartphone market, running on the Android Lollipop operating system and with a price tag of Rs 4,999. The Micromax Canvas Spark has a good built and feels good to hold. It has curved edges with the hardware keys placed on the right.

YU Yureka: Domestic handset maker Micromax launched YU Yureka smartphone, under an exclusive partnership with Cyanogen Inc. Running on CyanogenMod, the Yureka was priced at Rs 8,999. The Yureka features a 5.5-inch HD 720p display and has pixel density of 267ppi.

Moto G: Motorola announced the launch of the Moto G, an affordable Android smartphone, in the Indian market. A dual SIM smartphone, the device came in in two variants - 8GB and 16GB. While the 8GB variant is priced at Rs 12,499, the 16GB will come for Rs 13,999.

Moto X Play: Motorola launched its third generation Moto X in the form of the Moto X Play at Rs 18,499. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p LCD, octa-core Snapdragon 615, 2GB RAM, 16/32GB storage with microSD support, 21 megapixel rear camera with f2.0 aperture, phase detect autofocus, among other features.

Galaxy J7: Samsung launched Galaxy J7, the company's latest selfie-focused smartphones with 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash in India at Rs 14,999. The Galaxy J5 has a 5-inch HD screen and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with new UI and have a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash.
