Ducati 959 to be launched in India on May 21

Ducati India will be launching the youngest Panigale, the 959 Panigale, in India on May 21. Showcased at the India Bike Week 2016 in February, Ducati will officially launch the 959 Panigale for a starting price of Rs 14.04 lakh (ex showroom, New Delhi).

The new Ducati 959 Panigale will come with a 955cc, Superquadro: L-twin cylinder, 4 valve per cylinder, Desmodromic, liquid cooled engine producing peak power of 157 hp and peak torque of 107.4 Nm, paired to six-speed with DQS Ducati Quick Shift.

The new 955cc L-twin power unit is the first Superquadro with Euro 4 emissions approval and will be available in traditional Ducati red with black wheels at Rs 14.04 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi) from May 21. Booking for the Ducati 959 Panigale are open at Ducati dealerships. The upcoming Ducati 959 Panigale will compete against the likes of Kawasaki ZX-10R, Triumph Daytona and Suzuki GSX-R1000 in the Indian market.
