Chinese company Lenovo has launched its new lower mid-range 4G-capable smartphone Vibe K5 Plus in India at Rs 8,499.

Chinese company Lenovo has launched its new lower mid-range 4G-capable smartphone Vibe K5 Plus in India at Rs 8,499. The phone will be available on Flipkart from March 23.

It sports a 5-inch FullHD IPS display with a 1080x1920 pixels resolution which roughly translates to 441ppi pixel density. The phone is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory which is further expandable by up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

The dualSIM phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Vibe UI and supports 4G LTE connectivity and Dolby audio technology. It has a 13-megapixel camera on the rear with autofocus and single LED flash. The phone also sports a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The smartphone has a 2,750 mAh battery which is user-replaceable. The phone sports a premium metal build and will compete with the recently launched Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and LeEco's Le 1S. The Vibe K5 Plus will be available in Gold, Grey and Silver colours.
