Maruti Suzuki Ignis launched: Five things to know

Maruti Suzuki has launched its much awaited cross over vehicle Ignis at Rs 4.59 lakh (ex showroom Delhi).

Its top-end variant will be available at Rs 7.46 lakh (ex showroom Delhi). The car will be sold through Maruti Suzuki's Nexa showroom.

The Ignis will come in 6 color options- Uptown Red, Pearl Arctic White, Tinsel Blue, Urban Blue, Glistening Grey and Silky Silver. The Ignis resembles a lot like Wagon R and there's a hint of the Celerio too.

The car has been launched in four variants. Maruti Ignis Sigma, Maruti Ignis Delta, Maruti Ignis Zeta and Maruti Ignis Alpha.

While Maruti promises 20.89 km per litre for the petrol variant, the diesel model will deliver a mileage of about 26.80 km per litre.
