‘The real life batman’: Rahul Gandhi posters featuring LoP & caped crusader put up near Congress HQ
The move comes days after Gandhi was asked during an 'Ask Me Anything' session on Instagram whether he was Batman.

Rahul Gandhi has been given an unusual superhero makeover in Delhi, with posters portraying the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha alongside the fictional character appearing near the Congress headquarters and other parts of central Delhi.
The posters, put up by Delhi Pradesh Youth Congress chief Akshay Lakra, feature Gandhi alongside Batman and carry the captions ‘The Silent Guardian’ and ‘A Watchful Protector’. Another line on the posters reads, ‘LoP Rahul Gandhi - The Real Life Batman’.
The posters were placed near the entrance of Congress headquarters Indira Bhawan on Kotla Road and near the Indian Youth Congress office on Raisina Road.

Why Rahul Gandhi is being linked to the superhero
The posters come days after Gandhi was asked if he was Batman during an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on Instagram. Instead of directly accepting or rejecting the comparison, he responded with a joke.
“Let's just say that no one has ever seen me and Batman in the same room together,” Gandhi said.
The Instagram session was launched on August 6 as part of Gandhi's outreach to students and Gen Z. He invited young users to ask him questions directly, with the interaction covering issues including student protests, education and politics, along with lighter and more personal questions.
The Batman question stood out for its light-hearted nature, and Gandhi's response subsequently became part of the social media conversation around the interaction. Congress also leaned into the superhero reference in its social media messaging, including content featuring Gandhi in the rain with music associated with The Dark Knight.
